Insomnia

There is nothing like a bout of insomnia to get the old creative juices flowing! LOL. I hope everyone's week has started off well. It's 3:30am and of course I can't sleep, so I thought I'd post my entry into the 2CuteRubberStamps Challenge.

The nice thing about this challenge is that they offer you a free digi stamp to use, there's no need to go out and buy extra stuff, but of course once you see all these adorable images, you will HAVE to have them all! LOL
This little guy was colored in with Copic markers BV00, BV02, and BV04.

I then added a charm with a few pearl topped pins to the ribbon for added interest. I also used Stickles glitter glue on the top of the cupcake, because let's face it there's nothing that says cupcake, like sparkles!
Enjoy the rest of your day and don't forget to leave a comment or two, they are much appreciated!

I can't believe we are past the half way point in August, where is the time going? Here is a card that I did for my weekly post to 2CuteRubberstamps...

I colored in the little guy with Copic markers, then added a bit of glitz with a Sakura Stardust Pen. I also embossed some of the cardstock using a Cuttlebug embossing folder, then did a little sanding so that the embossed areas show through.
Now onto other news, if you've enjoyed the 2CuteRubberStamps images, you are in luck. Just read the rest of this post...

My latest creation...

So a few of my friends are already getting started on their Halloween cards, and this got me to thinking. Since the fall is my favourite season, why not start making a few fall inspired cards. Here is the first one...

The paper is from a Basic Grey line, Eerie, and the stamp is from a clear set put out by Inkadinkado in 2009. The pearls were originaly white, but using the Copic Marker Airbrush system, I colored them to fit my project.

The background of the image and saying were also created using the Airbrush system.
Now these cards are also doing double duty, as I have entered them into the following contests...
Simon Says Challenge and
Mojo Monday Blog. If you haven't been to Challenge or sketch blogs I highly recommend it. Not only do they provide great inspiration for your projects, but often them can offer a starting point when suffering those creative blocks.

Congrats To Winner Number...

Three, yup that's right JayEm, you won the blog candy. Congratulations! I'll be emailing you for your address later today so that I can mail out your goodies.
Here is my posting for today...

This little guy is a digital stamp from the company, 2CuteRubberStamps. Heidi is great and the service can't be beat.
So, as far as construction goes, I colored in the little guy with my Copic Markers, and I used only cardstock for the paper. But as you all know me, I had to jazz it up, so I broke out my Cuttlebug folders and added pizzaz that way.
I hope you enjoy the card and can take away a little bit of inspiration from it.
Happy Monday!
